Obituary of Janice Lynn Hanson

Janice Lynn Hanson, 76, of Duluth, Minnesota passed away October 19th, 2023 with family by her side. 

Janice was born in 1947 to Wallace and Doris Jones. She graduated from Central Hgh School in 1965. Jan worked at Wells Fargo after graduation and worked there until she retired in 2021. Jan was married in 1969 to Jeff Hanson.

Janice enjoyed spending time with family and her friends. They were all important to her. Her favorite pasttimes were hanging out with her children and grandchildren. She also loved going to Bingo with her friends. Jan loved just getting out and having fun. A favorite memory of ours is her love of  her song "Pretty Woman". She always had a big hug for everyone. 

We couldn't have asked for a better mom and grandma. We will all miss her everyday. Jan's memory will live in the hearts of all of those who loved her.

Janice was proceeded in death by her husband, Jeff Hanson and her parents, Wallace and Doris Jones. She is survived by brother Craig (Katie) Jones, son Kerry (Emily) Hanson, daughter Lyn (Jay) Tafs, grandchildren Amanda (Devin), Justin (Kelsey), Jessica, Hunter, Caleb, Colton, and Ashton. Great grandchildren Adaleigh and Dawson.

Celebration of Life will be held in the Zenith Terrace Clubhouse 2 Foxtail Ave. Duluth, MN 55810. Sunday, October 29th from 11 to 2.
