Obituary of Dagmar Joy Johnson

Dagmar Joy (Stephens) Johnson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.   She was born on May 11, l931, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Arthur and Dorothy Stephens. She married Robert W. Johnson on October 13, l951.

Dagmar was very active in Baptist churches for many years as an organist, was involved in women's mission work and enjoyed singing in choir.  She retired from Sears in 1982.

Her five children and their families have given her great joy:
Kris (Bruce) Carlson, Davenport, FL; Karen (Terry) Kahlstorf, Brookston, MN; Keith Johnson, Duluth, MN; Kathy (Scott) Randby, Fairbanks, AK and Kevin (Lindy) Johnson, Fort Worth, TX.  Grandchildren:  Sara (Dave) Malott, Davenport, FL; Travis (Sheila) Kahlstorf, Esko, MN; Aaron Carlson, Windermere, FL;  Wil (Melinda) Randby, North Pole, AK;  Lora Randby, Anchorage, AK; Sara Hartman, North Pole, AK; and Phillip, Fort Worth, TX. Greatgrandchildren:  Emily (Peter) Scoville-Moakes, Norwich, UK;  Derrek, Mason and Jake Randby, North Pole, AK; Baylee Jo and Zoey Hartman, North Pole, AK; Daran Tan, Esko, MN; and Tyler Kahlstorf, Esko, MN.

Dagmar was predeceased by her husband, Robert; her brother, Arthur Stephens II and grandson Nathan Milo Kahlstorf.

The family thanks Benedictine Living Community for their genuine care and love provided over the last several years.

Visitation will be held at Cremation Society Minnesota - Duluth at 2:00pm Saturday, October 21, 2023, with service at 3:00pm and reception following.
