Obituary of Mary L. White

Mary White 100, died Oct. 14, 2023, at Diamond Willow, Proctor, MN.

Mary was born on April 25, 1923, in Paterson, N.J. to George & Mary Sisco. She married Bill White on May 10, 1942. Mary and Bill owned a restaurant and bar in New Jersey until moving to Duluth, MN in 1979. Mary was a waitress in New Jersey and loved her weekly shopping trips to New York City.

Mary was a woman of faith and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Bill; three sons Billy, George, Tom; and special grandchild Michael Manning.

Mary is survived by her sister Georgia Pinney of New Jersey; daughter-in-law Charlene Zervas, Duluth; grandchildren Bill (Lisa) White, Andover, MN, Thomas, Maryellen, and James White all of New Jersey. Great Granddaughter Ellie White and beloved friends Lisa Kozlovski, Kate & Ken Jones, and Cathy & Paul Manning who share so much love and support.

A graveside memorial will be held in the spring of 2024.
