Obituary of Joanne Root Green

Joanne Root Green, 96, of Edina, joined her Lord and beloved husband, Sidney Green, on September 23, 2023. 

Survived by her sons, Dwight (Ming Chu) Benson, Roger (Terry) Benson, Bradford (Lee-Hoon) Benson and stepson, Stephen (Amber Richard) Green; grandchildren, Derrick (Kelsy), Bria (significant other - Tom Hindley), Sophia (Brian Verduzco) and great-grandchild Birdie, with two more great-grandchildren on the way. 

Joanne was a graduate of Washburn High School and University of Minnesota and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. 

Memorial service will be held on October 17, 2023, at Richfield United Methodist Church, 5835 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN at 10:00am. Visitation at 9:00am
