Obituary of George Raymond Krumholz

Krumholz, George Raymond, of Richfield, MN, passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

He was born on June 8, 1950, and grew up in Fairmont, MN. George graduated from Fairmont High School in 1968 and then graduated from Dunwoody in Minneapolis, MN in 1970. He married Cheryl Boom in 1973 and had twin daughters in 1974. George was a mechanic for Hennepin County from 1985 until he retired in 2014. He was a devoted family man with a passion for Honda Gold Wing motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Kathryn Krumholz; infant sister, Mary Kay Krumholz; parents-in-law, Paul and Marian Boom; & brothers-in-law, Paul Boom Jr. and Robert Melton III.

George is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cheryl; daughters, Paula Krumholz and Rachel (Peter) Czachor; granddaughters, Ella and Avery Czachor; brother, Michael (Debra) Krumholz; brother-in-law, Marlin (Mary) Boom; and sister-in-law, Connie Melton.

A memorial service will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave S, Edina, MN 55435 on October 8, 2023, at 11am, visitation at 10am. A light lunch will follow in their reception room.
