Obituary of Helen Hazzard

Helen Hazzard, 80, of Wrenshall, Minn. died peacefully at home with her family, after a long illness, Thursday, June 30, 2016. She was born Sept. 3, 1935 to Henry and Angelina Mathurin. Helen married George Hazzard June 20, 1953. They recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. Helen was preceded in death by sons Jimmy and Rodney, and daughter Kim; her parents; and a sister, Pauline Duggan. She is survived by her husband George; four sons, Phil (Annette) of Mountain Home, Idaho, Ron (Donna) of Superior, Wis., Tim (Chrissy) of Salado, Texas, and Tom (Margie) of Summerville, S.C.; a sister, Yvonne (Mike) Herr of Tucson, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A service will be held at a later date.
