Obituary of Rosalie T. Mazur

Passed away on July 5, 2016. She was born September 20, 1928, in St. Paul, MN to John and Valeria Mazur. Preceded in death by parents and five siblings: Anthony Mazur, Joan Sherman, Pauline Mazur, Regina Tenorio, Martha Mazur; and life partner, James Dill. Survived by sister, Violet B. Cupp (Grover Beach, CA); nephew, James Mazur (Sally) of Las Vegas, NV; nephew, Michael T. Sherman (Margaret Marie) and niece, Bernadette L. Hinrichs (Steve), both of St. Paul, MN; and niece, Nina McLaren (Ian Johnson) of Trygg, W. Australia. Also nephews and niece John Mazur (Cynthia), Mary Ford (Thomas), and Dr. Thomas Mazur, and many great nieces and nephews. An international travel agent during her working career, she also saw much of the world, circumnavigating the globe in 1965. Often visiting her sister, Regina, who was posted in U.S. Consulates abroad in the Foreign Service. She loved music and dance. Roz was dedicated to a healthful program of exercise and attended Water Fitness classes faithfully for many years at the Blaisdell-YMCA. They were and extended family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held July 14, at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of the Incarnation, 3801 Pleasant Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials to her church or your local charity.
