Obituary of Edward A. Cain

Edward A. Cain of Minneapolis passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13, at the age of 66, after suffering a stroke while recovering from surgery earlier in the week.

Ed is survived by his partner of 30 years, Valerie Pacioni; son Josh (Alonna), seven brothers, four sisters, grandchildren Nat and Daniel and many other friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Alphie (Joey); son Lucas and five brothers.

Ed had a long career in Building Maintenance, including 15 years at the Sears and Roebuck catalog hub on Chicago Avenue, followed by many years in apartment maintenance where he took pride in caring for residents' around-the-clock needs.

A memorial service is being held in his honor at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina Thursday August 24th -visitation at 10am and service at 11am for friends and family. In lieu of flowers - memorials to family preferred.
