Obituary of Darlene Ann Gray

Darlene Ann (Berg) Gray of Bloomington, MN passed away quietly on June 29th, 2023.

Darlene was born in Porter, MN in 1935.  She attended Minneapolis Public Schools and later continued her education at St. Catherine University in St. Paul.  She was married to her husband, Ivan Gray for 58 years.  Darlene was very active for decades with Assumption Church in Richfield, MN.  She was also a very active volunteer with multiple organizations throughout her life.  She loved to garden, read and travel to a variety of small town destinations.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ivan; son, Kevin; sister, Christine Wozniak; brother-in-law, Al Heddle; and brother-in-law Roy Gray.  She is survived by children Christopher, Beth, Tony (Kris), and Josh Gray (Kristin); grandchildren Brandon (Priscilla) Jette and Jessica (Dan) Twohy; great-grandchildren Abby Jette, and Ryan and Brenna Twohy; sister, Kay Heddle; brother-in-law Dan Wozniak; sister-in-law Lois Gray; nieces and nephews and loving friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on September 15th at Assumption Church, 305 E 77th St, Richfield, MN 55423 at 9:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. 

Burial will follow immediately at Assumption Cemetery.

Following the burial will be a celebration of life at Bloomington Event Center, 1114 American Blvd W Bloomington, MN 55420.  Food and beverages will be provided.
