Obituary of Ronald J Leif

Leif, Ronald Joseph of Eagan. Passed away at peace on July 7, 2016 at age 77. Ron lived a remarkable life against the odds. No father available. Mother died when Ron was 11. Raised without immediate family. Graduated from Boys Town in 1956. Financial career started with an accounting degree from U of MN. A promising career as an airline executive was cut short due to epilepsy. He later worked as an accountant, eventually becoming the initial charitable gambling manager for Knights of Columbus #7604 in Eagan. Many local charities gained from his efforts, in particular, Faithful Shepherd School. He was a good manager, neighbor and citizen. Mass of Christian Burial: Sat July 16 10:30 am, with visitation one hour prior to Mass, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4030 Pilot Knob Rd, Eagan. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St Paul.
