Obituary of Richard Thomas Johnson

Richard Thomas Johnson, age 79, of St Paul, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Richard was born on 10/22/1943 to Gordon and Delores (O’Neil) Johnson. Richard was an Army veteran and retired St Paul public schools teacher. Richard’s passion was recording music and movies, enjoying time with friends and traveling with his beloved Linda. He is survived by wife Linda (Nordin) Johnson, brother Gary, sister Sharon, children Alex, Chris and Tori Kulick-Carlson, and granddaughter Keeda Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, wives Joyce (Sather) Johnson and Dianne Kulick-Johnson. Richard will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and so many others. A memorial gathering will be held at the Roseville VFW on Sunday, August 13th from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The burial will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
