Obituary of Alvin F. Steinhilb

ALVIN "PA" F. STEINHILB Alvin "Pa" F. Steinhilb, 82, of Duluth, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center. Alvin was born in Duluth on Aug. 4, 1933 to Oskar and Pauline (Messner) Steinhilb. Following high school he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After returning to Duluth he spent a majority of his career in the printing business and was a proud owner of his own company Al' s Printing. Alvin was a life time member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. On Nov. 12, 1960 he married his next door neighbor Patsy Koralia. They were married for 55+ years. Alvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the cabin on Whiteface as well as his many trips to Vegas with his wife and their friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters and many nieces and nephews. Alvin is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pats"; two sons, Oscar (Rochelle), Alan; daughters, Hailie Ann Fish and Kim Dreier; grandchildren, Lynda (Brad) Johnson, Crystal Durm, Samantha Brown, Courtney (Mike) Rudkin-Oswskey and Bobby Murphy; six great-grandchildren and many extended family members. The family thanks the nurses at Bayshore for the wonderful care they provided Alvin during his stay. At Alvin's request no services will be held.
