Obituary of Walter D. Christopher

CHRISTOPHER, Walter D.,“Wally”, of New Hope, MN passed away on July 13, 2016. Retired 36 year veteran of MN National Guard. ***Memorial Service 2pm Sunday, July 17th at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran, 11024 Church St. NE, Hanover with visitation 1 hour before service. Interment Monday, July 18th, 2016 at MN Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls with military honors. ***Preceded in death by parents, Walter E. and Anna; two brothers, Donald and Raymond. Wally is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Joni; daughters, Shari Christopher, Sandra Wortman; grandchildren, Samantha (Bret) Lommel, Brett and Nikolas Wortman; sister, Carol (Glen) Miner; many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society, or donor’s preference.
