Obituary of Ronald A. Bodin

Ronald A. Bodin, 78, longtime resident of Lakewood, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016. He was born July 17, 1937 in Duluth to Arvid and Florence Bodin. Ron was a 1955 graduate of Duluth Central High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War. On Oct. 23, 1971 he married Kay Marie Melander. Ron was the business agent for Local 1091 and worked as a pipefitter at various places in the Duluth area. He liked to fish and hunt in his free time. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay; children, Amy (Steve) Jenson of Hermantown and Chad (Amy) of Proctor; a grandson, Hunter Bodin; and brothers, Lyle and Gerald (Sandy) all of Lake City, Minn. It was Ron's request that no service be held.
