Obituary of Christopher "Chris" Chisolm
Christopher “Chris” Chisolm - dedicated husband, father of one, and friend of many - suddenly passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 30 in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Chris was born to Terry and Richard Chisolm in Tampa, Florida in August of 1992. Chris graduated from Tampa Preparatory School in 2010, 4 years prior to moving to Minnesota to begin his journey of sobriety and recovery. During his time in Minnesota, Chris built a community, completed his Bachelor’s degree, and met the love of his life, Kristine.
Chris and Kristine married in 2021 and brought their beautiful daughter into the world in December of 2022. There was nothing that brought Chris more joy than being a husband and a father.
Chris was known to be a kind and compassionate soul. He loved making others laugh with his goofy sense of humor, helping others, and being with his family. Chris celebrated 10 years of sobriety in May of this year and was grateful for all of the gifts that a life of recovery brought him.
Chris is survived by his loving wife Kristine Chisolm, daughter Eliza Chisolm, mother Terry Chisolm, father Richard Chisolm, step father Steve Sobieralski, and extended family members that will miss him dearly.
Services are being held for Chris at The Cremation Society of Minnesota, Sunday, July 30th, 2023, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St Paul from 1 to 5 p.m. We will have a memorial service, time for sharing your stories of Chris, and fellowship after.
In Lieu of flowers, we ask that donations are made directly to Chris’s memorial website, https://everloved.com/life-of/chris-chisolm/ and or to The National Alliance on Mental Health, https://www.nami.org/About-NAMI/Donate-to-NAMI
