Obituary of Teresa Ann Behrens Feldman
Teresa Ann Behrens Feldman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 9th, 2023, at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with stage 4 brain cancer. She succumbed to complications related to her illness, leaving behind a legacy of love.
Teresa was born on October 20th, 1957, in Rochester, MN, to Gene Behrens and Patricia (Vickmark), as their first child. She was the eldest of five siblings, and her nurturing spirit and caring nature shone through from an early age.
After graduating from the Minnesota College of Art and Design (MCAD), Teresa embarked on a 30-year career as a talented floral designer. Her creative touch brought joy to countless occasions and celebrations, leaving a lasting impression on those who admired her beautiful arrangements.
Teresa was an active member of the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) community, providing unwavering support and sponsorship to individuals on their journey to sobriety. Her dedication and compassion made a significant impact on the lives of many, inspiring hope and recovery.
In her leisure time, Teresa found great pleasure in playing on her pool league, tending to her plants and flowers, and discovering hidden treasures through thrifting. She had a profound love for animals and dedicated herself to rescuing both domestic and wild creatures, nurturing them with care and kindness.
One of Teresa's greatest joys was spending time at the lake with her husband, John Feldman, creating memories together. She held her family close to her heart and cherished every moment shared, especially with her three adored grandsons.
Teresa will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, John Feldman, her daughter, Tiarr (Chris) Dahlen, and their children, Merrik, Kallan, and Weaver. She is also survived by her mother, Patricia Behrens, and her brothers, Tom (Beth) Behrens, Mike (Ena) Behrens, Mark Behrens, and Matt (Sara) Behrens, sister in law Melissa Feldman, and countless other relatives and friends.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Gene Behrens.
A celebration of Teresa's life will be held on Monday, July 17th, 2023, at the Dakota Lodge in Thompson Park, located in West Saint Paul. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during an open house style gathering, which will take place from 4pm to 7pm. Food and drinks will be provided, allowing loved ones to share stories, offer support, and honor the life of Teresa Ann Behrens Feldman.
