John “Jack” Bernard Buettner - 89 Years Young – Oak Grove, MN formerly Int’l Falls, MN, born St. Cloud, MN. Passed 6/19/18 @ Mercy Hospital with Jackie & Jerry at his side. Preceded in death by parents John and Mary (Egermann), brothers Milton, LeRoy, Norman, Howard & James, sisters Iva and Bernice. Survived by daughter Jackie (Jerry Hammes), brothers Ron and Don (Sharon), sister Jane Arsenault, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Retired from 1st National Bank (Wells Fargo) Int’l Falls. enjoying 27 years of retirement full of golf, fishing, bowling, curling, serving his church and community, traveling, gardening – ohhh those fabulous carrots! – and whatever else he wanted. Mass will follow Tuesday, 6/26 @ St. Gerard’s, 9600 Regent Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443 at 11 am with visitation preceding @ 10 am. Memorials preferred to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, 810 5th St., Int’l Falls, MN 56649 or donor’s choice. A celebration of his life will be held in Int’l Falls at a later date.
