Obituary of Pamalla Jean Gould
Pamalla Jean Gould age 76 of Cologne died June 6th,, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. It would be wrong to say that Pam lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Pam stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Pam. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. She lived a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Pam was born to the late Donald Lee Galyen and Willa Mae Kathan. She was born in Denver, Colorado and lived there until moving to Minnesota in the late 70’s. Pam was preceded in death by her husband Rodd Gould in 2004. Pam is survived by her three children. Rick (Vonda) Pfannenstiel, Debra (Michael) Hamilton & David Pfannenstiel. She is also survived by her grandchildren Steven Pfannenstiel, Matt Pfannenstiel, Chelsey Hamilton, Justin Hamilton & Jordan Hamilton and one great-grand daughter Alaina Hamilton and sister Vicci (Rick) Stoeckel and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers Thomas Kathan of Colorado and Greg Kathan of Colorado.
Pam’s greatest love was her family, she loved being a mother, it was her greatest desire to be a mother. Pam was a member of Mensa and attended bible college. She was such a special person and will be dearly missed.
In keeping with her nature her burial service will be private. Pam will be put to rest at Fort Snelling to lie beside her husband.
