Jaeger, Robert A. "Bob" Passed away on Saturday July 23, 2016 at the age of 92. Bob was born on February 17, 1924. Bob will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, and best friend, Delayne "Dee". He is deeply loved by his three children, Julie (Frank) Stieve, Linda (Ken) Jacobs and Tom (Lynda) Jaeger; grandchildren, Shane, Amy Stieve, Sarah (Adam) Siefert, Kristyn, Evan Jaeger, Ryan and Eric Jacobs. Bob's special ray of sunshine was his great granddaughter, Mikaela Elizabeth. He is also survived by his brother, Henry (Karen). Bob was a kind and caring man who always thought of his family first. He was a hardworking, courageous, and respected man who never believed in giving up. Bob was a Veteran of WWII. He served in the Navy on the USS St. Lo. He survived the sinking of his ship during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. After the war he started Central Dental Lab with his brother Charles. He worked there until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, antiques and traveling around the world. Bob loved his time up at the cabin with family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Hamel VFW, 19020 Hamel Road, Plymouth, MN 55446.
