Obituary of Ray D. Crawford

Ray D. Crawford, age 90, of St. Louis Park, was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on February 19, 1926 and passed away on July 27, 2016. Ray was a unique, generous, hardworking man. He worked at E. Hoiby Body Co. for the majority of his life, continued working part time until age 88. Ray fought with the 103rd infantry division during WWII,proud coach of the Norelco Little Shavers (Skippy Field Little League Baseball St. Louis Park). Ray is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Crawford. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie married 69 years; children: John, Bob, Jim alias Pee Wee & Colleen; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2-4 pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 5545. His burial service will be held Mon., August 8, noon at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to charity of your choice.
