Obituary of William D. Ortez
William D. "Don" Ortez, 82, died unexpectedly on May 24th, 2023.
Don was born Jan 16th, 1941 to William A. Ortez and Essie Jewell Phillips in Galveston, TX.
He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who loved the rodeo. He was a skilled mechanic who traveled the country and spent the last 20+ years living in Elk River, MN.
He is survived by his first wife Nancy Spaulding, his significant other Tynie Kvistad, sons William D. (Danny) Ortez, Earl A. (Andy) Ortez, daughter Karen A. King, 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced.
A Memorial Tree was planted for William
