Obituary of Beverly Jean Fanning

Beverly Jean Fanning, 89, of Glenwood City, Wisconsin, formerly of Rochester, Minnesota passed away Monday, May 22, 2023. Beverly was born September 15, 1933, in St. Paul, MN to Reinhold and Mary (Dorner) Colburn.

In 1979, Beverly married Douglas H. Fanning. Bev enjoyed a career in the restaurant business and was a fabulous cook. Bev was also a big supporter of the public library and loved to read many books a year.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Doug; her son John Lindell; sister Donna (Colburn) Kelly; and brother-in-law Tom Kelly.

She is survived by sons Craig (Jennifer) Lindell, Timothy (Hilary) Lindell; brother James Colburn; sister-inlaw Gloria Colburn; 5 stepchildren; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Service and Burial will be at a future date. St Patrick’s cemetery Sparta Wisconsin. Sincere appreciation to the staff at Glenhaven Skilled Nursing home for the wonderful care they gave Bev the last 3 years and to Adoray Hospice for keeping her comfortable during her last weeks.
