Kenneth R. Lind

Lind, Kenneth R., age 87 of Bloomington passed away peacefully on April 8 at Hopkins Health Services.  Ken started Richlind Metal Fabricators in 1963, using money he borrowed against his car, a company that is still in operation today.  For many years, Ken was a BAA youth football coach and his legacy touched the lives of many young East Bloomington boys.

Preceded in death by parents Ingeborg (Sowold) and Robert Lind; wife Nancy; and sister Kathy.  Survived by his children: Debra (Connie), Mike (Joan), Dave (Steph), Dan (Lisa), Vicki (Andy) Turner, Chris (Carol); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ken enjoyed all sports, especially football; travel and video poker. 

No funeral is planned.  Ken will be cremated and his remains scattered on his farm in Hitterdahl.
