Jack Pellman

Obituary of Jack T. Pellman

Jack T. Pellman, 58, Two Harbors, died at St Luke's Hospital in Duluth Aug. 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving wife, Tammy, and his children. He lived for over 13 years as a quadriplegic after a tragic accident in 2003. Because of the love and excellent care of his wife he lived well beyond all expectations. He was born on Nov. 11, 1957 in Winton, Minn., to Carl and Delores (Pollari) Pellman. He was preceded in death by both of them. Jack graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1976, and graduated magna cum laude in Marketing from UMD in 1991. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, trapping and woodworking. One would often find him reading since he had a tremendous thirst for knowledge. He loved his family and found much joy in the many grandchildren born in the last 12 years of his life. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Tammy (Pendergrass); four daughters, Jamie (Seth Christiansen), Jillian (Leif) Staffon, Julia (Jon Larson), and Amanda (Nicholas Hudson); four step-sons, Christopher (Jennifer) Dunker, Jeffrey Dunker, Peter (Erin) Dunker and Nicholas (Stephanie) Dunker; one brother, James Pellman; four sisters, Lora (Lee) Olson, Charlene (Richard) Harms, Cynthia (Duane) Crider and Janine (Douglas) Seis; and 19 grandchildren. As per Jack's request there will be no funeral but a celebration of his life to be held at a later date.
