Obituary of Cindy Bladholm Gaither

Cindy (Bladholm) Gaither Cindy Gaither passed away on August 2nd, 2016 after a courageous year-long battle with brain cancer. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her. Cynthia Lee Bladholm was born on December 7, 1961 in Marshall, MN the daughter of Terry and Donna Bladholm. The family moved to Fargo, ND in 1972 where she attended Lincoln, Agassiz and South High. Many life long friends were made during those years. She went to college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and worked in Dallas where she made even more dear friends and also met the love of her life, Kent Gaither. The two of them were married in Minneapolis on July 23, 1994. Preceded in death by her infant sister Julie Ann, Grand-parents A.L. and Edith Bladholm, Grand-parents Alphonse and Ora Johnson, father in-law James D. Gaither. Survived by husband Kent Gaither, parents Terry and Donna Bladholm, brother and sister in-law Steve Bladholm and Ann Overby, nephews Obbie and Carter Bladholm, mother in-law Karen Gaither, brother and sister in-law Jim and Kathy Gaither, brother in-law and partner Tim Gaither and Bob Glueckert, nephews and nieces Greg Gaither, Tahnee Gaither, Grant Gaither, Jonathan Glueckert, and Nicole Glueckert. Cindy had this infectious attitude toward life. It didn’t hurt that she had the cutest dimple, great legs, and beautiful blue eyes. Cindy was a natural beauty with a keen sense of humor. She enjoyed music, travel, reading, but most of all she enjoyed her family. She was extremely loyal and devoted to her family. I will be forever grateful to Cindy for her un-dying love, devotion, patience, support, and friendship. She’s truly a gift from God. I’m a much better man because of her. May you rest in peace.
