Obituary of Francis Edmund Launstein

Launstein, Francis Edmund Age 83, of Minneapolis, passed away May 5th, 2023. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister. Fran was an avid volleyball player and a member of the Minnesota Senior Sports Hall of Fame. He rarely missed a Gopher volleyball match. Fran enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at their family cabin. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra; sons David and Jon (Shantel); Brother Jim (Sue); grandchildren, Maddie, Alex, Ellie, Ashley and Emma. Funeral Service Friday 11am at Incarnation Church, 3801 Pleasant Ave, Mpls. Luncheon to follow. Visitation Thursday 5-8 pm at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave S, Mpls.
