Obituary of George Douglas Egan

Age 89, of Apple Valley passed away suddenly on May 3, 2023. Lovingly survived by wife of 64 years, Rose Ann; favorite daughter Rebecca (Roger) Wagner; favorite daughter Susan (Jim) Van House; favorite daughter Gretchen (Mark) Blackwell; grandchildren, Scott (Kaitlyn) Van House, Christian Van House (Julie Johnson), Samuel Wagner, Maddy Van House, Doug (Tiffany) Van House, Laura Van House, Jake (Molly) McGraw, Jessica (Jordon) Roszell, Joe McGraw, Eryn (Max) Segar, Alec Blackwell, Justin Blackwell and Brandon Blackwell; great-grandchildren, Mae, Josie, Luca, Paisley, Leilani, Willa, Luna, Jack, and Brixton; sister, Nancy (Barry) Pelissier.

Doug enjoyed socializing with family, friends, and anyone he met. He was kind to all and was sincerely interested in their lives. When you connected with Doug, you gained a friend for life. We will miss his hugs, kisses, love and support.

Private service/interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday June 9, 2023. All are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life honoring Doug. Saturday June 10, 2023 anytime between 12-4 PM Contact family for location. In place of flowers; memorials preferred to Catholic Charities or Agate Housing and Services.
