Obituary of Judy Diane (Westvaag) Snyder

Judy Diane Snyder (Westvaag), 81, formerly of Richfield/Eagan/Apple Valley passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14th in her home at the Rivers in Burnsville. Judy is survived by her children Carl, Holly (Joel) and Amy (Tom), her two granddaughter’s Nicole and Sarah (Mike), three great grandchildren, her sister Marie, and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was born in Minneapolis, graduating from Central High School and Normandale Community College in Bloomington  She is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and her sisters Margaret and Beverly. Judy was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. She enjoyed the Minnesota Vikings, animals, nature, caring for her horses, knitting club, spending time at the north shore and with her friends.

A private burial ceremony will be held for the family later this spring at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of memorials, please make a donation in her honor to your local animal shelter.
