Obituary of John Luther Craig

John Luther Craig, Sr passed away Thursday June 21st, 2018 with family by his side. He was born Sept 5th, 1947 to Norman and Mary Craig in Marion Il. He grew up with his sisters, til he joined the Army and served in Vietnam. As a proud Vet, he flew his POW flag and wore his Vietnam Vet hat everywhere he went. John lived a good life. Living with his daughter Ashley and family, he loved being surrounded by five of his grandchildren; playing with them, learning from them, spoiling them, along with spending time outdoors; feeding the deer, watching the birds and joining all family gatherings. John would tell stories about all his kids and grandkids to anyone who would listen. He was proud of all his children. John was preceded in death by his parents and sister Timna. He is survived by his five children; John Craig, Jr., Chickasha OK; Deon Craig, Chickasha OK; Jessie (Mike) Bickerstaff, Chickasha OK; Ashley (Steven) Fletcher, Duluth, MN; Jarek Craig, Duluth, MN and his wife Myrtis Craig of Natchez, MS., numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A casual gathering will be held 3:00 pm, Monday June 25th at the Cremation Society of Duluth.
