Obituary of Alesana Anetipa

Alesana Anetipa, age 71, of Saint Paul, MN passed away on April 8, 2023. Ale was born in Ofu, Manu’a, American Samoa and was preceded in death by his father, Anetipa and mother, Nofo, his brother, Anetipa Jr., and brothers in law, Feagiai Utu and Rodney Muller. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Ann, and his children Alesana Jr (Erin), Kristin, Louise (Simi Fruean), Brianna; grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Alesana III, Caroline Anetipa and Alexander, Lupe, Leila Fruean, and step-grandchildren Genesis and Simi Jr.; siblings Manu (Foiga) Anetipa, Moleupu Utu, Tusameme Muller, Pamata (Liva) Aulalo, Katerina (Falepuna) Maui, Tapu (Timoteo) Tofiga, Toniga (Peni) Toala, Fuatino (Fao) Sai, Ale Jr. (Sita) Anetipa and his many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Thursday, April 27th at Church of St. Mark, 2001 Dayton Ave, St. Paul, begins at 10:30am with funeral service beginning at 11:30am. Reception will be held at Carolyn Hall following the service until 2:30pm.
