Obituary of Norma Uecker
Of Buffalo, MN passed away June 21, 2018. Surrounded by her very loving daughters and granddaughters. Preceded in death by parents Norman and Mildred Broske; husband Earl Uecker; and son-in-law Scott Kieliszewski. Survived by children, Karrie (Jim) Robbins, Connie Uecker (Marco Novotny), and Lisa Kieliszewski (Nate Svejkovsky); Grandchildren Emily Robbins, Hannah (Ryan) Wiskow, Lily Robbins (Milo Tomaides), Gabrielle Kieliszewski, Molly Kieliszewski, and Valerie Kieliszewski; great-grandchildren, Levi Robbins, Aria Wiskow; brothers Gordon (Sharon) Broske, and Roy Broske; sisters Sylvia (Myron) McCollum, Janet Hoffard, and Pat Brown; and many other friends and family. Born in Winger, MN, August 29, 1942. Moved to Minneapolis, MN at age of 15. Graduated West High School 1960. Married Earl Uecker on Nov. 5, 1960 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Albion Center, MN. Karen drove school bus for 30+ years for Buffalo School District. She spent her entire life loving and taking care of her family and any other soul that needed a mom or friend. She loved her new apartment, shopping, McDonald's iced tea and coffee, morning newspaper, card playing, quilting and joking with absolutely everyone she met. Her love and zest for life and all of us will be very sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27 at St. John 's Lutheran Church. 302 2nd St NE, Buffalo, MN 55313. Visitation will be begin at 1:00 pm with a reception following the service. Memorials preferred.
