Obituary of Susanne Marie Holden

Susanne Marie Holden, age 74, Plymouth, MN, passed away August 24, 2016 at The Little Hospice of Edina. Sue's three year battle with ovarian cancer came to an end with her children at her side. Sue was born January 11, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Eugene and Mildred Pauly. Sue is survived by three children and four grandchildren. Sue's children are Matthew Holden (wife Valerie), Anne Girton (husband Timothy) and Molly Stakston (husband Benjamin). Sue's grandchildren are Jack Girton, Ava Girton, Holden Stakston and Andrew Stakston. Sue was preceded in death by her parents Eugene Gustav Pauly (1966) and Mildred Eileen Johnson (1998). Sue also joins her daughter Jill Kristine Holden (1973) in heaven along with several affectionate cats and dogs she had as pets. A memorial service celebrating Sue's life will be held 2 PM Friday, September 9th at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina, MN. The family asks donations be made in Sue's name to the Caring & Sharing Hands, Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance or Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley, MN.
