Obituary of William Edward Carlson

Retired USAF, TSgt William E. Carlson, 70, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018, in Duluth, MN. Bill entered the USAF Nov. 1, 1967 and retired Nov. 1, 1987. He spent 1 year in Vietnam from 1968-1969 during the TET Offensive and retired from Minot AFB in 1987. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Cairns, father Eugene P Carlson, step-father Maurice Cairns, sister, Barbara Gunderson, brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters Tammy (Mark), Billie Jo (Earl); brothers, Eugene (Sandy), Gary (Bonnie); sisters Bonnie and Kathy; grandsons Devin and Jordan and many loved family members. Family is honoring Bill’s request for no service.
