Obituary of Phyllis Grace Wenell

Wenell (McGrail), Phyllis “Butter” Age 93 of St. Louis Park; longtime resident of Edina passed away September 5, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Edythe and Raymond McGrail; brother, Edward “Bud” McGrail; beloved husband, Carl “Bud” Wenell. Survived by children, David (Elena); Jane (Chris) Lundeen and Dirk; grandchildren, Katie (Ross) Martin, Nick Lundeen and Christopher Wenell; great grandchildren, Max, Eva and Mia Martin; beloved special friends, Jenner Snell and Kathryn Graves. Phyllis graduated from Washburn H.S. and the University of MN. She was a librarian at the University of MN and for several years in the Hennepin Co. Library System. She loved her family, her friends, books, and a lifetime of summers spent at the family cabin at Sturgeon Lake. It was her wish to have a private family service at the lake.
