Obituary of Evelyn Wirtanen

Evelyn Wirtanen, 74 of Duluth, MN died Sept 7th. She was the daughter of Duncan N and Hilma (Nurminen) MacMillan. Evie enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, doing sewing & crafts, planting flowers and researching her family history. She was a Target employee for many years. She is proceeded in death by her parents, brother and her husband John. She will be greatly missed by son Robert (Mary Jo) Wirtanen, her daughter Wendy (Bruce) Finstad, granddaughter Kelly (Ed) Johnson, granddaughter Chelsey Finstad, sister Flora Wiita, sister-in-law Char MacMillan, sister-in-law Lorraine Wirtanen, and my nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held Sept. 11th at 1pm in the Lakeview Room at Black Woods Grill and Bar, London Rd, in Duluth.
