Obituary of Nile James Zumberge

Nile James Zumberge, age 88, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2016. Nile was a Minneapolis Firefighter for 30 years. He also worked for Dayton’s for over 30 years and served in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 67 years, Norma; son, Nowell; two brothers, Bert and Jack (Shirley); sister-in-law, Greta and brother-in-law, Jim Haworth. Survived by children: Nancy (Neil) Lueck, Jay (Betsy) and Nikki; grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) and Jen (Travis) Johnson; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Terry (Joyce); sister, Mary Haworth and many relatives and friends. Memorial service at 2 pm Wednesday, September 21 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation 1 pm.
