Obituary of Edna Mae Lincoln

EDNA MAE LINCOLN, 84.5 years old, was escorted to Heaven by a Host of Angels on Sunday, June 24th, 2018 after 13 days in St. Mary's Hospital with her devoted son Louie by her side. She was born on Dec. 15, 1933 in Denver, CO to Mary & Elmer Herring. Her parents, brother Ellis, sister Shirley, five children: Ellis, Ella, Patty, Sammy, & Don all got to Heaven before her. W.T. Daniel, 1st husband, also passed before Edna. Survived by her 2nd husband, Sam & 4 children: Tom, Carol, Dave & Louie, plus Mary Kay, Edna's 4th "daughter."Surviving siblings: Alberta, Dolly, John, David & Carolyn. Grandchildren: 40+ spanning 3 Generations, who adored & loved her. Plus many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, residents & staff from Viewcrest, Bayshore & Lakeshore. Her Family began going to 1st Pres. In 1967, where she sang Alto in the Choir beside her Best Friend RoseAnn of 51 years. Edna defined "Caregiver," as a Nurse of 34 years, following her Mother's example. MUSIC was a Passion of Edna, singing & playing Violin from a young age, inspiring her family to make music. Edna's COOKING inspired many with her Teriyaki Wings, Eggrolls, Dumplings, & Cabbage Rolls, & always made room at her table to feed others. She had a Servant's Heart, mentoring with Campfire & Pioneer Girls, PTA at schools, Bible studies, serving groups & outreaches dear to her Heart, which she freely opened to anyone in need. She defined a “Proverbs 31 Woman,” passing on great qualities & values to many. Edna was a Prayer Warrior, and knew how to Intercede for her Loved Ones & anybody else the Holy Spirit placed on her heart. What a Legacy & Role Model she was, truly living out her Faith as a Believer in Jesus Christ. VISITATION: 9 AM till the 11 AM LIFE CELEBRATION SERVICE, on Tuesday, July 3rd at 1st Pres. Church, 300 East 2nd St. Lunch after service. Please carpool
