It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of Harry Johnson on June 24, 2018. Celebration of Life is Saturday, June 30 from 3-5 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 14226 W. 280th St. in Henderson. Harry was born on April 11, 1940 to George and Dorothy (Nelson) Johnson in Jordan, Minnesota.He was the youngest of five children. On June 11, 1961 Harry married Patricia Jarvis. They were married for 52 years. Harry served the Jordan community in many capacities. Harry was a retired Jordan Firefighter, past Police Officer, spent multiple terms on the Jordan City Council, and Civil Defense. Harry is survived by daughters, Anamarie (Vance) Rodgers of Utah and Wendy Johnson (Brad Atkins) of Belle Plaine; sons Bryan (Mary) Johnson of Belle Plaine, Scott (Melenna) Johnson of Colorado, and Kelly (Andy) Johnson-Cowley of Edina; seven grandchildren; and many great- grandchildren. Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Pat; parents, George and Dorothy; four brothers, George, Eugene, Ronnie, and Russell. He will be remembered as the best father, grandfather and great-grandfather you could have.
