Obituary of John Warren Elliott

John Warren Elliott of Duluth passed away on Sept. 20, 2016. John was born on Sept. 16, 1936 in Long Beach, Calif. He worked as a theatre set designer at UC Irvine for many years. He moved to Sedona, Ariz., where he helped his life partner, Wayne Torke, in a retail Christmas Store. Later, John moved to Duluth to help Wayne in their store, in Duluth called "Torke Weinachten". Wayne preceded John in death in 2008. John is survived by his sister, Ruth and several nieces and nephews. Whoever was introduced to John was touched by his gentle loving soul. John was a gentleman in every definition. A private memorial service will be held for family and friends.
