Obituary of Kent Mericle

Kent Mericle, 63, of Finlayson, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Kent was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 10, 1953 to Richard and Leona (Stoldt) Mericle. He graduated from Grand Rapids High School and worked for several area businesses. Kent had a great love for cars, motorcycles and hunting. He also enjoyed animals, nobody loved them more. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Melissa; sister Lynn Lucht; maternal grandparents, Ed and Gladys Stoldt and paternal grandmother Gladys Mericle. Kent is survived by his wife Susie; son Raine Hentges; 5 grandchildren; sister Sue (Tom) Koch; brother Doug (Deb) Mericle; sisters Kari (Bev Battisti-Sheldon) Mericle-Garcia; brother Mark Mericle as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
