Obituary of Mark A. Denny

Mark A. Denny, age 78, of Eagan, MN, passed away on September 27, 2016. Born at Eitel Hospital in Minneapolis, MN on January 5, 1938 to William and Pearl Denny. Mark was raised in Long Lake, MN and graduated from Orono High School in 1956. He attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota. Mark retired from a long and successful career with 3M Corp.. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed cross country motorcycle trips, had a sharp mind for trivia and was a lifelong MN Vikings fan. His strong will, quick wit and accepting heart will always be remembered and missed by all. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by children: Jeff (Karen), Jill Rayburn, Jodi (David) Hall, Jon and James (Angie); many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, William and Curt Denny; special Yorkie, Molly; many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. An intimate memorial service will be held at noon on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Minnesota Masonic Home Chapel, 11501 Masonic Home Drive, Bloomington. Interment following at 2:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery, Long Lake, MN.
