Obituary of Deanna Gail Hennes

Hennes, Deanna (Volkmeier-Vidmar) Age 79 of Burnsville peacefully went to be an Angel on October 2, 2016. Preceded in death by Parents Edward and Lorene, Special Brother-in-Law Bill Thompson and Sister in Law & Partner In Crime Dolores Volkmeier. Survived by Husband Allen, children Tami Vidmar, James Vidmar (John), Scott Vidmar (Tammy), Randy Vidmar (Julia), Deb Larson (Mark), Dick Hennes (Sue), Terry Hennes (Ruth), 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and Beloved Pets Oreo and Teddy. Brothers, Edward Volkmeier, Gordon Volkmeier, Douglas Volkmeier and Best Friend and Sister, Judy Thompson. Dee worked for over 30 years at the Decathlon Athletic Club in Fine Dining which was her passion. She enjoyed Bingo, Casino Trips and her main love was baking for her family & friends. Fun outings or anytime with the Grandchildren brought her great joy. Dee was warm hearted and giving beyond belief and was always there to help anyone in need. Holidays were a special time at her house filled with lots of decorations, all the trimmings and traditional foods. Memorial Service and Visitation Friday October 14th Visitation 4:30-5:30 pm with Memorial Service to follow at approximately 5:30. Arrangments handled by Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue, Edina, MN (952) 924-4100. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family for a charity yet to be determined for Animal Care. Dee so loved her animals.
