Obituary of Ruth S. Michael

Michael, Ruth S. age 93 of Bloomington, passed away peacefully at the MN Masonic Home on October 9th, 2016 with her family by her side. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lavina Smith, brother Howard, and husband Wayne A Michael. Survived by sons Dickson (Marsha), Daniel, and David (Nancy), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ruth was born and raised in Veblen, SD. After graduating from Veblen High School in 1941, she moved to Minneapolis to attend the MN School of Business. She worked as a bookkeeper for several years before marrying and moving to Bloomington in 1949. Ruth loved animals, especially her cat, Suki. The family would like to thank the staff at the MN Masonic Home for the exceptional care Ruth received. Private family service.
