Obituary of Donald J. Ocel

Donald J. Ocel, age 83, of Bloomington, passed away October 22nd, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Samuel and Magda and siblings Helen and David. Survived by wife, Mary; sons Sam (Nancy), Matt (Jil); daughters Sarah Kempf (Troy), Emily Labelle (Stacey); grandchildren, Keith, Andy, Toni, Danielle, Emma, Taylor, Tommy, Morgan and Calvin; 6 brothers and two sisters; step children, Michael, Stephen, Daniel, Margaret, Catherine and David; 6 step grandchildren. Funeral service and interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery Thursday at 10:30am, gather at assembly area #4 no later than 10:15am. Don had owned APA Medical and worked there for over 40 years. Don was known for hitting the ball long off the tee and was an avid fisherman with many fish stories to tell. He will be missed by many.
