Obituary of Paul R. Maki

Paul R. Maki, 94, of Superior, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at Middle River Health and Rehab. He was born Jan. 31, 1922 in Poplar to the late Nilo and Lizzy Maki. He worked on his family's farm and later drove a fuel truck until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, snowmobiling, and could fix anything around the house. He preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Parenteau) Maki, daughter Debra York, one sister Ailee Knight. Survivors include granddaughter Amanda Stark, grandson Daniel Winkler, great-granddaughter Patriot Stark, three sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Gathering of family and friends: one hour prior to the 10 a.m. celebration of life on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave Duluth, MN with luncheon to follow.
