Obituary of Kathleen T. Meyer

Meyer, Kathleen T. (Kate) 64, of Bloomington, passed away Oct. 27, 2016, of lymphoma. She lived most of her life in Minneapolis and had worked in animal medicine since she was 16, most recently at Uptown Veterinarian. Sweet, strong, supportive Kate was a guardian angel to humans and animals alike. Her family and friends will always remember her wonderful sense of humor, generous nature and endless compassion for others. She constantly showed care and concern for those around her, and her remarkable spirit and intoxicating laughter could light up even the darkest room. There was no one like "Kater," and there are not enough words to convey the impact she had on every life she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to a charity of your choice. A memorial reception will be held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 55435.
