Obituary of Zene Ellen Shortridge

Shortridge, Zene Ellen “Tolly” (Tollinger) Age 91, of Burnsville, formerly of Edina passed away on October 27, 2016. Preceded in death by husband, Charles S. (Chuck) Shortridge and daughter, Karen L. Shortridge Anderson. Survived by daughters, Susan (Myron) Anderson, Mary (Alan) Yenerich and son, Charles (Christine ) Shortridge; granddaughters, Kari (Paul), Suzie (Kevin), Sara (Justin), Lisa (Steven), Laura (Sam) and great grandchildren, Emily, Madalyn, Tyler, Hannah and Ella; son-in-law, Jeff Anderson and loving niece, Kay Shortridge. Tolly worked at Fulton Terrace apartments for many years as the Apt. manager, retiring to an apt in Edina for 13 years, and then to the loving and patient care at Ebenezer Ridges Care Center and the kind and compassionate care of the Fairview Hospice staff. She was a long time member of Lake Harriet United Methodist Church and was on the original Committee that started the churches Nursery School. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 15th at 2 pm at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN 55435 (952)924-4100. Visitation at 1:30 pm. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Lake Harriet United Methodist PreSchool, Ebenezer Ridges Care Center, or Fairview Home Care and Hospice.
