Obituary of Marjorie Mahoney

Marjorie “Margie” Mahoney Age 95 of Fridley & Columbia Heights, passed away on Oct. 30, 2016. Margie celebrated a long full life enjoying time spent with her family and friends. One of the highlights of her life has been being a grandmother, for many years she was a devoted sports fan at many Fridley Soccer and Basketball games. During those years she became “Grandma Margie” not only to Heather and Amanda, but to several other young ladies in Fridley. She is survived by her daughter, Gigi (Gregg) Holmes, granddaughters, Heather Malakowsky (Brian) and Amanda Holmes, niece, Sandra Robbins (Clint), nephew, Steven Johnson, grandniece, Jennifer (Eric) Marquardt, grandnephew, Jason Robbins and great grandnephews, Cole, William and Issac Marquardt and many friends. Visitation at 12 noon followed by a memorial service at 1pm on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, MN. Reception immediately following the memorial service.
