Obituary of Erling Thomas Hallanger

Hallanger, Erling Thomas "ET" age 76 of Richfield. ET passed peacefully November 1, 2016 in his sleep surrounded by his loving family and caregivers. He was preceded in death by infant sisters, Anna and Eunice, his parents, nephew Andy, niece Sandy; brothers-in law Ron Sterrett, Paul LaMothe, John Hall and Paul Wagner; many aunts uncles and several cousins. ET is survived by his wife, Maureen McGinty; children Shawn McGinty (Jessica Flannigan) Amy French and Scott (Sandy) Hentges; and grandchildren, James, Julian, Asher, Dylan, Jesse, Briana and Cole; his siblings, Rev. Fredrick (Lucille) Hallanger, Jane Sterrett, Agnes Griffen, Helen (Homer) Stensrud, Elizabeth "Betty" Wagner, Phyllis LaMothe, Solveig (David) Westgard, and Rev. H. Chris (Jan) Hallanger; sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Those who know and love ET will always hold dear the sunny times he shared with us and remember the light, humor and sense of fun he brought into our lives.
