Obituary of Florence Ella Strom

Florence Ella (Anderson) Strom, 95, passed away Nov. 13, 2016. She was born Aug. 31, 1921, to Oscar and Myrtle Anderson in Duluth. Florence married Thore Strom on April 15, 1942. She was very active in Circle at Elim Lutheran Church and enjoyed coffee with her many friends. She loved to play cards and dice with family and friends. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thore; brothers Donald and Claude; sisters Lillian, Dorothy May, Leona and June; grandson Brett; and great-grandson Arrie. She is survived by her children, Jack (Dorothy) Strom, Paula (Scott) Strom, Tim (Kathy) Strom and Elliot (Gloria) Johnson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Florence was deeply loved and will be missed terribly by her family and many friends and acquaintances. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota, with visitation one hour prior.
